Todmorden to Littleborough along the Rochdale Canal

Todmorden. The start of the walk.
These mile markers are found along the Rochdale Canal in Yorkshire. This marker is near the Library Lock in Todmorden..
Gaulxholme Viaduct in the distance. The banks of the canal here were covered in purple heather.
Gaulxholme viaduct carrying the railway from Manchester the Halifax. Built only 40 years after the canal was opened. Progress!
